    Generosity Pays

Did you know that being generous is good for your brand?

Many businesses have discovered that genuine generosity can result in increased respect in the marketplace, improved well-being in the community, and enhanced opportunities to make connections.  These factors will, in turn, result in your business being front of mind when people are ready to buy.

When employees are actively involved in the giving, for example, through choosing the charity or volunteering as a team, businesses also benefit from improved staff morale.   Staff who feel good about their employer are great ambassadors for their business’ products and services and are less likely to seek opportunities with other employers.

Volunteering is also a great way for employees and business managers alike to develop their skills.  They might find themselves working alongside and learning from experts in their field.  Alternatively the charity might give them a task that highlights a hidden talent.

What organisation could benefit from your time, sponsorship dollars, discounted product, or fundraising assistance? Give generosity a go, not only will you have fun but your business will enjoy the results!
